Running for Kids Who Can’t
How far would you run to help a kid? How a bout 150 miles?
Executive Producer Soozy Martin from our own Throttle Post runs that far each year to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. That’s thirteen half marathons in 2013 alone and she plans on even more next year.
Her passion comes from her close relationship with Everett Foster, a 13-year-old friend who is struggling with Muscular Dystrophy. “Everett is an inspiration, “ says Soozy. “His outlook on life and optimism are beyond words and it makes you realize how silly it is to be frustrated with the relatively small problems most of us face each day.”
Soozy will be running her last race of 2013, The White Rock Half Marathon, this Sunday, December 8. And with every step she takes you can help MDA get closer to a cure. Please join us in supporting her now, by clicking here.
