Go New Snickers Ad! Wait…What?
Snickers, we suspect you may not be yourself when you’re hungry. Something was clearly up when this new ad was made. At first, it’s a great ad. And if you get distracted and don’t watch it all the way to the end, you’ll feel like Snickers really has its head on straight with an insight directed right at their female consumer.
It’s the tagline at the end that’s the real head-scratcher. Is Snickers implying that if men do indulge in their product to ward off hunger and get a quick energy boost that they will revert to being, well, stereotypical men with stereotypical views of their female counterparts? Maybe we should just pretend we didn’t see that part.
