Willow St. Agency Teams Up with Make-A-Wish to Help Wishes Take Flight
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas approached Willow St.to produce a series of videos documenting just a few of the amazing wishes that Make-A-Wish granted for children with life-threatening illnesses. The videos were shown at the foundations annual fund-raising gala, Wish Night. Tears were shed and money was donated, this year surpassing the $1 million mark.
Jim Sykora directed the videos, including the story of his own daughter’s experience with the Make-A-Wish foundation.
“Willow St. was proud to come together and donate our services services to an organization that is truly the turning point in many children’s stories,” said Jim Sykora, partner at Willow St. “These videos represent a very small number of the thousands of children who’s lives have been touched by Make-A-Wish.”
Local artist and photographer Scott Harben also worked with the media team for Wish Night to create beautiful images combining real and animated object to bring this year’s theme of “Wishes Take Flight” to life. The children pictured are local wish kids that Make-A-Wish of North Texas has granted wishes for.
Other partners who helped on this years fundraiser include Terry Ranson and the team from Moroch, Scotty Richardson at Lucky Post, Lee McKinzey and the team at Harper House, Those 3 Reps, MPS Studios, and many more.
