A CREATIVE WAY TO MAKE OR REPAIR ALMOST ANYTHING.
Jane ni Dhulchaointigh, along with a team of scientists, have created a new product called Sugru. What is it? Pretty much anything you want it to be.
Basically it is self-setting sculpting clay. Instead of getting hard, it becomes a rubbery silicone material that will adhere to anything – wood, glass, fabric, metal, etc.
The purpose of the invention is to “hack” life – to fix and modify everyday objects to make life easier. Check out the video below for some examples of what people are doing with this amazing new material. And if you come up with a great Sugru project of your own, let us know.
